2018 Resolutions

RESOLUTION 18-R-01 expressing official intent that certain expenditures to be incurred in connection with certain public works projects, and related expenditures for the new police headquarters, Lytle Street Phase 2 project and various street projects (“Hot Spot Program”), be reimbursed from proceeds of notes, bonds, or other indebtedness to be issued or incurred by the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

RESOLUTION 18-R-02 expressing official intent that certain expenditures to be incurred in connection with certain public works projects, and related expenditures for the construction of the Library Technology Center be reimbursed from proceeds of notes, bonds, or other indebtedness to be issued or incurred by the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

RESOLUTION 18-R-03 INITIAL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS BY THE CITY OF MURFREESBORO, TENNESSEE, OF NOT TO EXCEED SEVENTY-ONE MILLION DOLLARS ($71,000,000) TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR CERTAIN PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS, AND TO FUND THE INCIDENTAL AND NECESSARY EXPENSES RELATED THERETO.

RESOLUTION 18-R-04 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE CITY OF MURFREESBORO, TENNESSEE IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF NOT TO EXCEED SEVENTY-ONE MILLION DOLLARS ($71,000,000), IN ONE OR MORE SERIES; MAKING PROVISION FOR THE ISSUANCE, SALE AND PAYMENT OF SAID BONDS, ESTABLISHING THE TERMS THEREOF AND THE DISPOSITION OF PROCEEDS THEREFROM; AND PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY OF TAXES FOR THE PAYMENT OF PRINCIPAL OF, PREMIUM, IF ANY, AND INTEREST ON THE BONDS

RESOLUTION 18-R-05 establishing payments in lieu of taxes for the Murfreesboro Electric Department for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018.

RESOLUTION 18-R-06 requesting unclaimed balance of accounts remitted to State Treasurer under Unclaimed Property Act. 

RESOLUTION 18-R-07 to approve the NASPO ValuePoint Cooperative Purchasing Organization (NASPO-Value Point) as a purchasing cooperative option under the City’s Procurement Code.

RESOLUTION 18-R-08 requesting assistance from the Tennessee Department of Transportation for roadway improvements associated with development of a site for Sazerac of Tennessee, LLC (“Sazerac”).
