The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on August 7, 2019 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2019-423] to rezone approximately 20 acres located along North Academy Street, East Lokey Avenue, East Hembree Street, Christy Court, Palm Court, and Jetton Drive from RD (Duplex Residential District) to PRD (Planned Residential District).  The purpose of the requested PRD (Oakland Court PRD) is to allow for the redevelopment of the Murfreesboro Housing Authority’s Oakland Court development with a total of 150 dwelling units.  The application is being made by the Murfreesboro Housing Authority, whose representative, Mr. Thomas Rowe, may be contacted at (615)-893-9414 for additional information.  Copies of the application and PRD pattern book are available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that they will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearingInterested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615)-893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on August 7, 2019 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W.
